Foo Fighters: 11-15-1995 Brixton Academy

If memory serves, this show aired on MTV during the Foo Fighters' rapid rise to fame while touring on their debut album. Highlights include set opener "Enough Space", which would later appear on their sophomore effort, the outstanding The Colour And The Shape, and two b-sides. It's a rocking performance, and it's no surprise that they quickly took off commercially. Dave Grohl's post as drummer in Nirvana obviously meant that the media would pay close attention to his first record, but the quality of his songs and the energy of his band's live performances are why Foo Fighters remain so hugely successful today.

Hey, did you get ticktes for the acoustic show they are playing in Philly? I didn't get any b/c it sold out in like 4 minutes, and at the time I was working the day shift so no Internet to buy them. Anyway, I 'll at least see Pete Yorn acoustic show on this Friday.
