Idlewild: 05-11-2005 Acoustic Set

I've been listening to Roddy Woomble's new solo album, My Secret Is My Silence, an awful lot lately. It's quite fantastic, really, and I can say after a great many listens that it's worth shelling out the pounds for the import CD (it's only released overseas), especially if you're a fan of Idlewild, Woomble's band. Speaking of Idlewild, during their tour of the UK in support of their latest, Warnings/Promises, they played a two set gig on May 11, 2005. The first set was acoustic, and in the second they reverted back their usual rocking, electric selves. A kind chap recorded the sets, so here's the acoustic one to get you in the mood to buy that import CD of Woomble's. There are audio samples up on Woomble's MySpace page and on Idlewild's. Enjoy.
