Brandi Carlile - Room For Me
Brandi Carlile recorded three EP/LPs before she signed to a major label. The story goes that she used to burn copies herself to sell at shows when she was starting out in Seattle. I've been sitting on this and the other old records for a while, and I thought it was about time to share some of Ms. Carlile's early songs. Her 2005 self-titled record still gets regular rotation on my stereo, and is well worth picking up.Brandi Carlile

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for posting all of Brandi's "lost" works. I randomly got to go to her last Seattle concert at Woodland Park Zoo in summer '06 and have been in love with her music ever since. Thank you so very much for letting us ALL hear her previous works. Cheers!

just so you know, brandi has said that she wishes people couldn't get ahold of these recordings. she said it bothers her. out of respect for her, i think you should take this down. but obviously that's up to you.

Hey Darrin, I was watching a video on youtube that Brandi Carlile gave to tellofilms when she was doing the housing works project with the Indigo Girls. The lady asked her about her first guitar and she mentions you and says you gave it to her after learning some chords and that she still has it today. Thought you would like to know.
