Nirvana: 10-12-1991

While I was away on vacation I read the new biography of Nirvana by Everett True. It's a massive tome, almost 600 pages in length, but a fascinating account of the band from its beginnings by someone who knew the group intimately. It's certainly not for the casual fan because of its length and the minute details into which it delves, but I highly recommend it to anyone who loves Nirvana's music or who likes reading about the inner workings of bands.

While reading, I was reminded of the controversy surrounding Steve Albini's original mixes for the album In Utero. After I track down Albini's version of the record I'll post about it. For now, here's a soundboard Nirvana show from 1991, the year when Nevermind was released.

Your blog is great and I check it every day, but I just realized that I only downloaded the first half of this show, so I was wondering if you wouldn't mind reposting the second half for me. Thanks a million for everything you post.
